Drishti IAS, a prominent coaching institute known for preparing students for the Civil Services Exam, may relocate its coaching center from Mukherjee Nagar to Noida as per reports. This move comes in the wake of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) sealing Drishti IAS and several other coaching centers in the city. The crackdown followed the tragic death of three students at Rao IAS, another coaching institute operating from a basement in Old Rajinder Nagar.The relocation of Drishti IAS has sparked speculation that other coaching institutes may also consider moving their operations out of Mukherjee Nagar. Many anticipate that Mukherjee Nagar could eventually become deserted, as numerous major coaching centers are contemplating relocations due to the increasing difficulty of meeting safety and government regulations. Recent challenges include stringent compliance with fire safety norms, building structure standards, and obtaining various NOCs related to security.Amidst these developments, Drishti IAS management revealed that they had been exploring potential locations in Noida for some time, indicating that the decision to move was not solely prompted by the MCD’s recent actions but also by long-term considerations.
